MAY 8 - Day 1 Overnight Flight - NY-Edinburgh
MAY 9 - Day 2 Glasgow · Private Transfer Edinburgh Airport - Hotel
Welcome to Scotland! After checking in to your city center hotel and a bit of free time, we'll meet our private guide for a Glasgow highlights city tour. We'll see the cathedral and the university, as well as George Square and Kelvingrove park.
This evening we'll meet for a drink before dinner at the hotel.

MAY 10 - Day 3 Stirling Castle & Glengoyne Distillery
This morning we'll go to visit Stirling Castle, one of the most famous in Scotland's history. After time to explore the castle, we'll head to Glengoyne Distillery for a history lesson in whisky making and a tasting to understand what we've learned about.
This evening will be free time in Glasgow and dinner on your own.

MAY 11 - Day 4 Loch Lomond, Glencoe & Eilean Donan Castle
After breakfast we head up into the Highlands. Passing Loch Lomond and Glencoe, we'll enjoy the scenery and history as we go.
We'll stop at the famous Eilean Donan Castle for a tour and visit before making our way to the shore of Loch Alsh to our next hotel for two nights. We'll enjoy dinner together at the hotel.

MAY 12 - Day 5 Isle of Skye
Today after breakfast, we head across the bridge to the Isle of Skye. The beatiful wild landscape will amaze you! We'll visit Dunvegan Castle, Kiltree and the port town of Portree, where you'll have free time to explore on your own.
We head back to Loch Alsh for dinner together at the hotel.

MAY 13 - Day 6 Loch Ness & Urquhart Castle
Today after breakfast we head off to explore the famous Loch Ness. We'll take a boat ride on the loch so you can try to find Nessie, then we'll have time to explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle.
Next, we head near the beautiful Cairgorms National Park, having a view of the mountains as we make our way to a farm to enjoy a sheepdog demonstration. Watching these animals work, doing what they are bred to do, is amazing. Then we head to our outlying hotel for the night.

MAY 14 - Day 7 Culloden & Fyvie Castle
Today we'll go back in history to visit the site of the famous Battle of Culloden. We'll have time in the Visitors Center learning about Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobites, before heading south to Aberdeenshire to visit Fyvie Castle, Garden and Estate.
The next two nights will be spent in a beautiful Manor House in the countryside, enjoying the peaceful scenery surrounding us.

MAY 15 - Day 8 Highland Cows & Drum Castle
Today we'll visit another farm, this time with the famous Highland Cows (pronounced Cooos)! These long haired animals are fun to watch and we'll learn why they are important in Scotland.
Next we'll visit Drum Castle & Gardens and learn about its medieval history. We'll head back to our Manor House for free time and dinner.

MAY 16 - Day 9 Dundee & St. Andrews
Today after breakfast we say goodbye to our lovely Manor House and visit the beautiful city of Dundee on the coast. You'll have free time to explore the city, the UK's first UNESCO dedicated City of Design. It's a cultural hub with lots to see.
Then we go to the famous town of St. Andrews, the origin of the game of golf. This medieval coastal town will allow you to wander back in time as you stroll along its streets and waterfront.
We head to our hotel across the river Firth from the city of Edinburgh where you are free to have dinner locally or head into the city on your own via taxi.

MAY 17 - Day 10 Edinburgh
Today we'll enjoy a full day tour of Edinburgh with all the highlights! We'll visit the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and and the Palace of Holyroodhouse as well as the small back streets and lanes that make this city unique.
This evening, we'll enjoy our last Group Dinner in true Scottish tradition!

MAY 18 - Day 11 FREE DAY IN EDINBURGH
This morning after check out, we will head across the river to our last night's hotel in Edinburgh's city center. We'll have the entire day on our own to explore the city as we like and enjoy our evening at leisure.

MAY 19 - Day 12 Transfer · Hotel - Edinburgh Airport
This morning we have a private transfer to the airport for our flight back to NY with warm memories from Scotland.
