Virginia’s Story

The very first time I set foot in Paris, I knew I was French (although I’m not)! It felt right, it looked familiar, and I was bursting at the seams to explore all the corners and alleyways the old city had to offer. I was 17, the first one in my family to travel across the Atlantic, and I fell in love with France immediately.

Exploring Europe became my passion. I found myself equally enamored with other countries and realized that Europe was a treasure trove of hidden delights for me. The charming towns, the unique customs, and the amazing culinary delights…what wasn’t to like?

When I entered the world of travel, my desire was to send people to Europe to have the same incredible experiences that I have had. To see the Eiffel Tower for the first time or to sing German drinking songs at Oktoberfest or to recognize your family name on a street sign or an inn….everyone’s experience is different, but the awe and the joy are the same!

I was fortunate enough to take my first group to Berlin for a performance trip and THAT was when I fell in love with organizing and traveling with groups. When you love something as much as I love exploring Europe, sharing it with others is just the icing on the cake. To be a small part of connecting someone to their travel dreams is equal parts humbling and gratifying. To be there witnessing the widening of their eyes and their drawn-in breath… Well, that makes every small detail you’ve attended to for them all worthwhile.

I travel to Europe with many of my groups, and on my own, to continue exploring all of the countries and the secrets they hold. Then I come back to share them with my clients. I love customizing European vacations with the little “whispers” I’ve picked up along the way and my staff is equally committed to making every journey a unique experience.
